The price includes dinner, bed and
breakfast. Breakfast is when you like it, within reason, and dinner starts at 19.30. It's
a four course Table d'Hote menu using the rich variety of fish, meat, game, fruit,
vegetables, cheeses and traditional culinary traditions of Perthshire and Scotland. We
only use the best local provisions and suppliers. For the last two years we have been
awarded Taste of Scotland recognition at 4 Star. We can manage fine if you have particular
dietary needs as long as we know in advance. This year we won the Johansens 'Wine List of
the Year' award out of all the Recommended Country Houses and Small Hotels in the UK and
Ireland. In case you just want to relax closer to home, guests of The Pend can use the
leisure club facilities of the nearby Stakis Dunkeld House Hotel at special discount
rates. Facilities include a heated indoor swimming pool, spa bath, sauna, steam room,
multi-gym, tennis, croquet, putting and archery. Massage, beauty treatments, sunbed, etc
are also available. There are lovely walks by the River Tay and through the 199 acres of
hotel grounds which also hosts 4x4 wheel driving, Europe's largest 12 bore shooting range,
salmon fishing and mountain bike hire. After all the energetic pursuits of the day, relax
to the sound of real music in MacLean's Real Music Bar. If you play why not join in,
everyone is welcome.
